Not all stress is bad for you. The good stress is called 'eustress' and the other one we know most about is distress.
The stress of change and challenge is valuable and good and enables us to grow as human beings. It is therefore an essential part of a healthy life. No one can or would want to escape all stress. We all have to meet challenges in our daily life. The skill is in managing our stress and not allowing our circuits to be overloaded.
Sometimes it is not the stressors that are the problem but our response to them that determines whether we stay well or develop dis-ease.
So come and learn new ways to increase your stress tolerances, renew your depleted resources for resisting stress and explore new skills for managing your own stress effectively.
Kinesiology can help. Using simple muscle testing it is an easy way to check your bodyıs response to the stresses in your life. It allows you to see the priority areas to work on and shows you what you can do to feel more balanced. These might include looking at diet, exercise, emotional stress, language, belief systems, relaxation and many more areas besides.
Here are some of the stress responses that you might be experiencing.
Irritability
Depressed
Anxiety
Apathy
Denial
Avoidance
Minor ailments
Physical exhaustion
Frequent illnesses that change
Muscle tension
Poor diet
Colds
Sore throats
Time challenges
What to do next?
Book yourself in for an initial Kinesiology consultation which lasts an hour and a half. This will allow me to take a detailed history of what is happening in your life right now. We will look at creating a template for how you want to feel differently in your life and will work to find any imbalances preventing you from achieving balance and success in your life. |
